Justin considers it a huge privilege to be doing what he loves and making a living at it. He loves the adventure that photography offers him; whether it's shooting basketball players in China, governors in Mexico, orphans in South Africa or catfish noodlers in Oklahoma. A majority of Justin's work is engaging portraits that show depth and narrative. Justin's goal is to create an image that captures a reader, that makes them want to lean in closer to the page of a magazine, and entices them to read deeper into the story he is visually telling. He might do this by simply casting some interesting lighting on a celebrity who is confidently holding a quirky coffee mug in their hand or by shooting a CEO in a suit, lounging in a kiddie pool in the middle of a field, reading a paper. Justin will do anything to create a visual story that will stop the viewer in his or her tracks, making them want more.
